DZOFILM has recently introduced their newest cine lens, the Vespid 12mm T2.8 VV. This remarkable ultra-wide-angle lens is meticulously crafted for large format cameras and boasts compatibility with both PL and EF mounts. Weighing in at 725g and measuring a compact 72mm in length, it features a front diameter of 80mm and a front filter thread of 77mm. 

The Vespid 12mm T2.8 VV lens is engineered to cover large-format sensors up to Vista Vision, delivering an impressive 46.5mm image circle. Its optical design comprises 15 elements arranged in 10 groups, including two aspherical lenses, ensuring exceptional image quality. The lens offers a minimum focusing distance of 20cm from the sensor plane and a remarkably short working distance of just 7.5cm. With its 10-blade iris, the aperture can be adjusted from T2.8 to T22, providing creative control over depth of field.

The Viltrox AF 75/F1.2 E and Viltrox AF 75/F1.2 Z are both fast, sharp, and versatile portrait lenses with a large maximum aperture of f/1.2.

With both lenses or either you can create beautiful bokeh and isolate your subject from the background. These lenses also feature a new STM stepping motor for fast, accurate, and silent autofocus, making them ideal for capturing fleeting moments.

They have a weather-sealed construction, so can use them in any environment.

However, there are some key differences between the two lenses:

• Mount: The Viltrox AF 75/F1.2 E is designed for Sony E-mount cameras, while the Viltrox AF 75/F1.2 Z is designed for Nikon Z-mount cameras.
• Minimum focus distance: The Viltrox AF 75/F1.2 E has a minimum focus distance of 0.88 meters, while the Viltrox AF 75/F1.2 Z has a minimum focus distance of 0.8 meters.
